A few years ago someone generously donated a big ol’ pile of wooden dowels, which have been holding up the walls at our offsite storage facility (my garage) all this time, patiently waiting for me to be struck with a single creative idea as to what to do with them! Something like Wooden Sculpture Gardens!

Then last Saturday, one of the most generous people on the planet literally spent the entire sweltering afternoon sweating over a buzzing table saw, tediously slicing them into tiny bite-sized pieces for us. Not one for Facebook or blogs, he’ll likely never see these stunning pictures, but I’m pretty sure he would be extremely impressed and hopefully feel VERY appreciated by lots of little sticky people!

Brilliant! This is a great use of those dowels! I’ll be featuring them on The Crafty Crow!
