In Elementary

Summer is an extra special time in the studio because we have kids for weekly summer camps.  When we have them Monday through Friday, we can get into some lengthier projects that are hard to do in a one hour weekly class.   So summer means super amazing awesomeness!

This layered abstract painting project is a perfect example!  Each layer requires a little drying time in between.  We worked on these over the course of two days and layered, layered, layered.  This is a great project for kids of any age.

We were thrilled when Bar Rucci from Art Bar Blog shared our tutorial with tips & tricks on her blog!  Do you follow her?  We’ve been fans for years!

Go read the full step-by-step over on her blog!   And we’d love it if you shared your photos on Instagram and tagged us!  @smallhandsbigart
