Chelsea RannoPottery Instructor
    Chelsea joins Small Hands Big Art this summer as a Pottery Instructor at our new Pottery studio!
    Chelsea is a recent transplant to North Carolina. Born and bred in New York, Chelsea graduated from Pratt Institute of Art with her BFA and a Masters in 2011. Her thesis, regarding the importance of clay in the classroom was published in 2011.
    She taught elementary in both NJ and NYC metro area before moving on to teach high school. In Brooklyn she lived and worked in various communities before moving to the greater Charlotte area in the summer of 2017. Chelsea’s passion for ceramics led her to pursue new opportunities, and new adventures.
    During the school year,  Chelsea teaches ceramics at Lake Norman High School. Her student work has been showcased at many local and state level competitions.  Follow her on Instagram @msranno_ceramics
