Through demonstration by our experienced instructors, and hands on learning, you\u2019ll practice foundational construction techniques (coil, slab and pinch pot) to sculpt functional and decorative pieces.\u00a0 You\u2019ll learn surface decorating techniques using textures, molds, slip, sgraffito, & stencils as well as glazing techniques.<\/span><\/p>\n

Becoming skilled at the potter\u2019s wheel takes time and practice, and the introductory techniques learned in this class will lay the groundwork to be able to create basic vessels like small bows & cups. At the end of class, select your two favorite pieces and they will be clear glazed and fired and ready for pick up the following week.<\/p>\n
