Yesenia is a bright light and bundle of energy on our rockstar weekend team! She generally just loves working with kids, and during the week, she teaches Spanish at Union Day School. She will tell you that being able to work with children has reminded her of how beautiful life is on a daily basis.
Yesenia received her BA in Spanish with a minor in Child and Family Development at the University of North Carolina of Charlotte. She is close to finishing her Masters in Foreign Language Education, and truly believes that when it comes to education, the sky is the limit.
Yesenia has an energetic five year old son who keeps her on her toes! They enjoy spending time outside and kicking a soccer ball around. On rainy days, they watch movies and get creative with paper & paint. When she has some alone time, she grabs a good book and lets her mind slip into a different world.
