Polina MelnikovaAssistant Instructor
Hello, my name is Polina Melnikova (or Ms. M)  🙂

My experience includes working with children ages 2 to 18 from diverse backgrounds, including those with various disabilities. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, and plan to specialize in either art therapy or biofeedback. I believe that creating art is a deeply personal and joyful experience. Through playful exploration and creative expression, children can build confidence, strengthen social skills, and support their overall brain development in ways that are both meaningful and fun.

I personally love working with acrylic and watercolor, and I’m always excited to share new techniques and ideas with my students.

A few fun facts about me: I’m originally from Russia, but grew up in Las Vegas. I used to be a ballet dancer (thanks to my acrobatic father and musical mother!). I’m a big fan of ping pong, cozy rainy days, being in the woods, swimming, and really good coffee/food.

I can’t wait to meet you and your kids!
