Jennifer Bryant founded Small Hands Big Art in 2009 after leaving a successful career in the financial industry to pursue her passion for creativity, education, and entrepreneurship. What began as a single Charlotte art studio grew into a vibrant creative community where thousands of children have explored art, built confidence, and discovered the joy of making.

Over the next 16 years, Jennifer developed the programs, teaching philosophy, and creative experiences that became the foundation of the Small Hands Big Art brand. In 2018, the studio expanded to a second independently owned and operated location in Fort Mill, South Carolina, led by owner Jen Lumpkin.

In 2026, Jennifer proudly passed the torch of the flagship Waverly studio to Katie and Nick Breaux. Katie began her Small Hands Big Art journey in 2012, making her transition to owner a meaningful full-circle moment. Today, Jennifer continues to support the Charlotte and Fort Mill studios, as well as creative entrepreneurs through consulting and mentoring, while Katie and Nick lead the next chapter of the Charlotte, NC Small Hands Big Art at Waverly.
