Alex earned her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from UNC Charlotte.  She is a dedicated art teacher with high school Digital Media Arts and Contemporary Craft and Design background, as well as middle school visual arts experience. Alex prides herself on engaging art projects that showcase student diversity and incorporate social emotional awareness. She believes in the value of collaboration and fostering an environment that encourages students to think critically and expressively.

Alex is a full time high school art teacher during the week, so you’ll mostly see her smiling face on the weekends, during school breaks, and in the summer!
