I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. I studied art at the School of Visual Arts in NY, New York and Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL where I received a BA in Graphic Design and Fine Art.

After years of designing for The Hearst Corporation and becoming the proud mom of five wonderful children, I certified to teach art at UNCC. I have taught art at Socrates Academy in Weddington for the past ten years.

In my free time (what is that?) I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and anything creative.
