Love was in the air at Small Hands Big Art’s sold out Valentine’s Day State Silhouette Watercolor Workshop that we hosted at VBGB!
Admittedly, a few relationships were probably put to the test with the exclamation of, “Guess what honey! I signed us up for a watercolor workshop on Valentine’s Day!” (we were tickled at how many men found us!).
Er, wait, maybe that announcement actually earned a lot of brownie points for the person who took the initiative to sign up! Thankfully the only tense moments we witnessed that night were couples trying to reach a compromise between VBGB’s famous Tachos or wings, and in the end, it was clear that couples who create together, stay together!
It was a fun night for couples of all ages and stages, as well as a few single BFFs who wanted to rock their GALentines Day!
The evening was super chill and laid back – everyone was able to check out of their busy lives for a few hours and explore, design, and mingle colors and textures!
After the hands-on demonstrations by our creative guru, everyone was free to work with the watercolors & ink at their own pace. We were super impressed with these amazing results (pardon the poor lighting)!
Not everyone was into doing a state silhouette! Lots of room for individual creativity here!
