In Elementary, Middle School

We are so excited to showcase these beautiful chalk landscapes from a recent 9-14 yr. old class!

We used a glue resist technique whereby students designed their chalk pastel landscapes at the end of class the prior week, and traced their simple lines with glue on heavy weight black poster board.  The next week when the glue had dried, they applied layers and layers of vibrant chalk pastel. These are some incredible examples of vibrant striking chalk landscapes. We are so impressed!
