Hi Friends!
What's in Your Box?
Project #1
Typography Mixed Media on Canvas
We like to call this one “Alphabet Soup”! Explore an abstract collage technique involving layering letters, numbers & colors, using brushes + alternative painting tools! This is a fun project to commemorate people, places or dates in a unique, abstract way – resulting in a fabulous finished piece! Fun for any age! And younger kids can have fun practicing their alphabet & numbers as they create!
Project #2
Collagraph Printmaking
Collagraph printing is a process involving building up a raised design on a printing plate. Simplified, you could think of these as “stamps”. We’ll teach you some cool printing techniques, and – you know us – we have to turn the used printing plates / stamps into something beautiful too, right?! — Watch the 2nd video for some quick creative prompts for how to display or alter your prints or printing plates!

Project #3
Kids Ages 6+ - Modern Wood Mobile or Garland
We love to show kids ways of combining things together to make something stunning! These simple wood picture frames, and other basic materials go from ho-hum to fantabulous as we turn them into a modern sculpture that can hang vertical or horizontal.
This was our invention – YOU might even come up with a better idea for how to combine these materials! This one is a great motor skill challenge!
Project #3
YOUNGER KIDS AGES 2-5: Box Mobiles
Make a 3D Box Mobile! Add stickers to the boxes, add color with oil pastels and paint, and dangle with yarn!
Embellish your wire hanger with beads & buttons!
