Lizzy HalmyInstructor

Lizzy earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts and Art Education degree from the University of South Carolina.  She is thrilled to be sharing her love of art with students at Small Hands Big Art!

Lizzy has had extensive opportunities over the last couple of years to work with children of all ages. She loves to foster creative confidence and inspire a love of art in all children, no matter what their skill level. Her philosophy is that every student leaving the studio will have a greater understanding of their personal creative talent and develop a joy for making art.

Lizzy believes creativity lies in all of us and she encourages her students to explore and demonstrate that creativity. Lizzy has also enjoyed working with adults while volunteering with a nursing home art program.

While Lizzy is experienced in multiple mediums, she demonstrates a passion for three-dimensional art and abstract based painting. Besides making art, in her spare time Lizzy enjoys traveling, a good book, and watching Netflix with her cat Dexter.
