Happy Fall! The temp finally dropped below 80 in Charlotte, and as we prep for our Annual Fall Festival taking place this Saturday, we are reminiscing about this spectacular Fall Woodland Mural from last year’s festival. (Check back to see what fun mural idea we have up our sleeves for this year!)
Looking for a fun, collaborative fall activity for kids of all ages this season? A large woodland animal mural would be so fun for a party or just as an ongoing piece of art in a playroom or anywhere you have a big wall – the garage??
We used oil pastels for a rich, vibrant color, but it would work well as a chalk wall too! Just keep in mind that in both cases, there will be a little “dust” so make sure to cover the floor if you need to! We used a fade resistant 50 lb weight black butcher paper. We left it up to admire it for about a week afterwards, and we continued to find secret messages and be amazed at all the hidden little creatures the kids incorporated!
