In In the Studio

We’re just popping in to share our Summer 2013 Recap! Summer around here is CUH-RAAAA-ZY! We’re sweaty & glittery and our feet hurt, but we’re not complaining! We LOVE this time of year because we get to spend so much time with with kids in our weekly camps, seeing them every day & having a blast, making new friends and generally just getting super creative together!

Pottery

For those of you who know us, it will come as no surprise that one of our first projects of the summer would be a birdhouse! But not just any ol’ birdhouse – check out these amazing textured slab sculptures! They are in the kiln being bisque fired as we speak ~ we can’t wait to see how they turn out after they are glazed! The kids did an amazing job on these! Next up… the pottery wheel….

… And last but not least, here’s a fun shot of these adorable little BFFs showing their support for the Isabella Santos Foundation. I wish Isabella could have been with them ~ some days it seems like she literally just was. Next week, on June 28th, it will be a year since the world lost such a vibrant young spirit, but it’s been so amazing to see the growth of the ISF and all the meaningful ways in which Isabella continues to touch and inspire people. Please find a few minutes {in a very non-public place} to watch this amazingly touching and inspiring video!

On a lighter note, man, that girl loved to paint!
