Check out these festive nutcrackers our 9-14 yr. olds created in class this week! This Nutcrackers Craft would be fun to make at home with a small mix of wood scraps from the hardware store and some wooden toy pieces with holes from the craft store! Students drew on the wood with oil pastel, then painted them with liquid watercolor. A cool feature was that their arms and/or legs were hinged with a nail or screw.
